Thank you for choosing to work with me through TheMuDojo LLC. This agreement is here to make sure we both have a clear understanding of how we’ll work together, what you can expect from me, and what I ask of you. Clear agreements help us build trust and keep our time together productive and supportive.
1. Nature and Scope of Services
Coaching is a partnership. My role is to guide and support you as you work toward your personal and professional goals, strengthen your self-awareness, and create a life you love (even more). Our sessions may include identifying stressful or traumatic past events and we will be using Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) to lessen the ways they may still affect you today.
I am a Certified EFT Practitioner, trained with EFT Universe / Energy Psychology Group, Inc. Please note: I am not a licensed doctor, therapist, psychologist, or counselor. Coaching is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment. You are responsible for your own well-being during and after our work. I strongly encourage you to inform your healthcare provider before beginning, and never change medication or treatment without consulting them.
2. Client’s Responsibilities
As the client, you agree to show up fully for this process—ready to take action, reflect, and try new things. Your commitment and participation are key to your results. You are responsible for any choices or actions you take as a result of coaching. You also confirm that you are well enough to engage in coaching and agree to keep your scheduled appointments.
3. Coach’s Responsibilities
I am not a medical or mental health professional, and I do not diagnose conditions. If I believe that therapy or medical support would better serve you, I will recommend that you seek guidance from the appropriate licensed professional.
4. Ethics
Either of us may end the coaching relationship at any time, for any reason. I will always be upfront about any potential conflicts of interest or concerns that may require ending our work together. If I believe coaching is not appropriate for you, I reserve the right to end our agreement and may suggest licensed support instead.

5. Privacy and Confidentiality
What you share with me stays private and confidential. I will not share your personal information without your permission, except in situations where I am required by law or ethical guidelines. These include:
•Risk of suicide or serious self-harm
•Threats of violence toward others
•Risk of exposing someone to a life-threatening communicable disease
•Suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a child or vulnerable adult
•Severe mental health concerns leaving someone gravely disabled.
If you are ever in immediate crisis, please do not contact me. Instead, call 911 (or your local emergency number) or use a crisis resource such as www.befrienders.org, 1-800-SUICIDE, or 1-800-273-TALK. Deaf clients can call 1-800-799-4TTY.
I may also ask that you provide me with an emergency contact in case urgent support is needed during a session.
6. Non-Disclosure
At times, you may share sensitive personal or business information. Likewise, I may share coaching materials and insights. We both agree to keep each other’s confidential information private, unless:
•We have written permission to share it,
•The information becomes publicly available in another way,
•It is required by law, or
•It was developed or obtained independently outside this agreement.
7. Recording and Review of Sessions
I may take notes or, with your permission, record sessions for safety and professional oversight. Any other use (such as education or training) would only happen with your written consent, and your identity would be protected. You agree not to record coaching sessions yourself. I will make the recordings available to you at your request and for a limited amount of time.
8. Anonymity, Technology, and the Internet
While phone and video sessions are convenient, please note that no online communication is 100% risk-free. By working together online, you understand there are potential risks to privacy. I ask that you avoid discussing sensitive personal matters by email or text outside of our scheduled sessions.
9. Scheduling, Payments, and Cancellations
Payment is due when you book. Please be on time for your sessions.
Rescheduling or cancellation: If you need to cancel, please give me at least 24 hours’ notice.
For single sessions: cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be refunded.
For packages: missed or late-cancelled sessions may be forfeited.
If I must reschedule: I will give you at least 24 hours’ notice unless it’s an emergency.
Late arrivals: If you are late, the session may still have to end on time. If I am late, I will add the missed time to the session or to a future session.
For online sessions, please ensure you have a stable internet connection. If technical issues beyond your control arise, we’ll reschedule without penalty.
10. Limit of Liability
TheMuDojo LLC and I are not liable for any damages arising from your use of coaching services. In any case, my liability will not exceed the total fees you have paid for coaching.
11. Indemnification
You agree to protect and hold harmless TheMuDojo LLC, including its staff and affiliates, against any claims or expenses (including attorney’s fees) that may result from your use of coaching services in ways that breach this agreement.
12. Jurisdiction and Disputes
This agreement is governed by the laws of New Jersey. Any disputes will be resolved in New Jersey state or federal courts.
13. Waiver
If either of us overlooks or forgives a breach of this agreement, it does not mean that future breaches will also be waived.
14. Severability
If any part of this agreement is found invalid by a court, the rest will remain in effect.
15. Client’s Agreement with Coach
By signing this agreement and completing payment, you confirm your acceptance of these terms. If you have concerns about any part of this agreement, please let me know so we can address them before moving forward.
By signing, you also confirm that you are entering into this agreement willingly and without any pressure, false statements, or coercion.
